Why you can’t edit guest numbers on Vio.com
After a reservation is confirmed, we can’t alter the number of guests through our system.
Vio.com pulls live prices from many booking partners, and changing the guest count means running a totally new search, which will result in different prices or room types.
What to do instead
- Ask the property
- Call the hotel and see if they can accommodate the change.
- You can find the hotel’s phone number on your booking confirmation email, right below the property name.
- If the hotel can’t help, consider canceling and rebooking
- Check your booking’s Cancellation policy.
- If free cancellation is still possible, cancel the current booking and make a new one with the correct guest count.
- Remember: once a booking is cancelled, it can’t be reinstated, and non-refundable bookings don’t allow this option.
