What is a No Show?
A "No Show" occurs when you fail to arrive at the property for your booking without canceling it beforehand.
What happens in a No Show situation?
Most properties typically charge a fee equivalent to the full reservation cost based on the Cancellation Policy. This is outlined in detail in your booking confirmation, under the Cancellation Policy section. For further clarification on the associated charges, you can refer to our article: Cancellation policies explained.
Why is there a fee?
Hotels and other accommodation providers charge No Show fees to offset the loss incurred due to unoccupied rooms. When guests fail to arrive for their reservation without prior notice, the property loses the opportunity to rent out the room to other potential guests.
