Everything you need for a smooth check-in can be found in your booking confirmation email, and you can show it on your phone–no print-outs required.
1. Open the confirmation email
Inside you’ll see:
- Check-in & check-out times
- A “Check-in instructions” section (more below)
- The property’s address and phone number
- Price details and any unpaid charges
Tip: You don’t need to print anything — showing your confirmation on your phone is perfectly fine.
2. Read the “Check-in Instructions” section carefully
Her, the property explains:
- Exactly where to go (helpful for apartments or villas)
- Whether you need to call ahead, use an entry code, or collect keys elsewhere
- Any other arrival steps specific to that property
3. Know what you’ll need to pay on arrival
Under “Price details” or “Taxes & fees” you’ll find:
- Any balance still due (if you didn’t pre-pay in full)
- Local city taxes or resort fees, which need to be paid at the property
Bring a valid payment method with sufficient funds to cover these amounts. Typically, any payments made at the property are made in the local currency. The currency of payment will be clearly stated under the value.
4. Bring ID and your payment card
Most properties will ask for:
- A valid passport or national ID
- The card used for your booking
If the cardholder won’t be present, confirm in advance that the property allows third-party payments.
