Deal Freeze is a unique feature available on select Vio.com deals. It lets you freeze a booking price that you see at the moment and allows you to pay later to create a booking.
- Available on mobile and Vio.com App (iOS or Android).
- The feature is free of charge.
- Accessible to all users signed in with Google accounts.
- Currently, it is available only on the English version of our site.
- You can freeze up to 3 deals within 1 month, or 5 deals in total per user!

How to freeze a deal?
- Click on the Freeze Price button.
- You will be able to see until when you will be able to freeze the deal and complete the payment to confirm your booking.
- You won't need to pay anything in advance to freeze the deal.
- Please be aware that if you decide to turn the freeze into a booking later on, we will use the guest details you provided during the freeze and will not be able to change those. So it’s vital to provide the right information while freezing the deal.
- You will receive an email confirming the freeze, showing the payment deadline, and a link to the Freeze management page.
How to complete the payment and confirm the booking?
- You will be asked to complete the payment within the deadline stated in the email.
- You can do so by clicking on the ''Manage frozen deal'' or the ''Complete booking'' button.
- If you don't complete the payment within the deadline, the freeze will be automatically cancelled. You will receive an email confirming this.
- We will send you reminders 72 hours and 24 hours before the payment deadline.
- To complete the payment, either click on Manage Freeze in the email or access it through your account on the Vio.com app.
- Once the payment and the freeze details are processed, you will receive your booking confirmation.
What if you decide to cancel the freeze?
- Click on ''Manage frozen deal'' in the email confirmation you have received.
- Next, click on Unfreeze deal and it will be automatically removed. You will receive an email confirming that the deal was unfrozen.
- Keep in mind that this action can't be reversed.
- Cancellation will also take place automatically if you won't complete the payment within the deadline. You will receive an email confirming this.
What if you need to make changes to the booking made with the help of Deal Freeze?
Apart from the great price, there will be no specific Deal Freeze-related conditions, and your booking will fall under the conditions described during and after the booking process.
Please note the booking will be created with the guest information you provided during the freeze, and that the guest details cannot be changed.
