Selected deals on Vio.com allow you the option to book now and pay later, giving you even more flexibility.
To guarantee your booking, you’ll be required to enter your Credit Card details during the booking process, but you won’t be charged until the specified date. See an example below:
You’ll receive a payment confirmation email on the specified payment date.
Please note our payment provider may need to validate that your Credit Card details are correct and that there are enough funds to pay for the booking. This may result into a temporary hold of your funds, which will be automatically released. Read more on Preauthorisation here.
What if the scheduled payment fails?
In the event that we’re unable to successfully charge your card on the specified date, we’ll notify you via email.
This email will include two options:
- Your payment will be automatically rescheduled, giving you the opportunity to resolve any issues with your bank. The new payment time and date will be shown in the email.
- You can also complete the payment immediately using a different payment method by clicking ‘’complete payment’’.

We’ll make 3 attempts in total to charge your card. If we’re still unsuccessful after the third attempt, you will be able to complete the payment using a different method in the next 8 hours.
If no payment is made, the booking will be automatically canceled. Please note that cancellations cannot be reversed.
